Today was split between a productive morning session and a late evening nightcap. With my wife gone to New York for a few days, I have been making use of the time, especially at night once the kids go down. As much as I love being able to read the scriptures and get a jump on some reading, I would rather she was here interrupting my flow of thinking as I read and write (I’ve learned to put the book down when she talks to me and actually engage).
1035-1200 – 2 Corinthians 10–11 (Greek)
2130-2300 – 2 Corinthians 12–13 (Greek)
A large portion of reading today, but it was worth every minute. To be completely honest, I had a really hard time starting this morning. There were so many other “tasks” that demanded my attention, especially having just moved to another country. But almost a few seconds after actually sitting down and opening the text and praying for guidance, I didn’t want to stop!
Who ever said it would be easy?
